Sunflower Project NYC

Sunflower Project NYC Haikus

haiku from grula in orlando....
Orlando's sun burns
Summer kills flowers fast here
Plant some for me, mmkay?

haiku SFPNYC haikus..........

haiku Plewp! That's the sound of
seeds when they burst from their shells.
Yeah, I made that up.

haiku Seeds in my pocket
sprouting and bulging-- like they're
happy to see you.

haiku Simple to do this.
Bring a fork, squirt top water
and wear comfy shoes.

haiku Sunflower seeds fall
from my pants, shirt and my hair.
Could be this year's look.

haiku It's a big old town.
Somebody's got to plant it.
Why not us tonight?

haiku I pretend to drop
my cellphone in the planter.
I leave seeds behind.

haiku Seeds sprouting quickly
like champagne bubbles up your
nose at a wedding.

haiku Wanted: Bronx people
to seed their front stoop planters.
How 'Bout Dem Yankees?

haiku Brooklyn, where are you?
I mean I know where you are
but where's your seed peeps?

haiku Seeking fine people
to plant and water flowers
in Borough of Queens.

haiku I read somewhere that
No Man's a Staten Island.
Whatever. Want seeds?

haiku It's The Garden State.
I'd like to see sunflowers
dotting the Turnpike.

haiku Westchester is just
the perfect spot to stick one
thousand sunflowers.

haiku Metro Card Fun Pass
helps me water the flowers.
I want a Vespa.

haiku Miles of flowers now.
Can I borrow your Vespa
through October?

haiku Plants and signs vanish.
You say it's squirrels. But where
do they stash the signs ?

haiku Is this your hobby?
Yes, I say, crouched with my comb.
Love scraping dog crap.

haiku Small dog and small mind
in tow, local Tree Lady
watches me closely.

haiku Accidentally,
6,000 seeds were dropped here.
We hope you don't mind.

haiku Cracked cement pavement.
Where did those flowers come from?
What the hell is this?

haiku Planting sunflowers.
Large Federal Agent says
"Let's see some ID".

haiku "No, you can't plant there"
Man with No Clue inspires
6,000 flowers

haiku Large backhoe grinding
uprooted streets still aching
Look! A little sprout!

haiku Forest of flowers
Seem to appear from nowhere
Must have been the birds.

haiku In New York, Cher can
strut nude--no notice. Plant seeds?
People stop. What's that?

haiku A fork in my bag.
Next to my comb some wet seeds.
Armed and dangerous.

haiku HAIKU FROM CAROL- Point Thank You Diva.....

haiku Armed with black seeds
I glance around furtively
then complete my task

haiku Dig hole with chopstick
Make sure seed goes into hole
Mission accomplished

haiku Look at me strangely
Wonder why I'm poking dirt
Doesn't everyone?

haiku Watering something?
Not me, I just spilled water...
for the seventh time
